Let's build a steel structure factory from scratch!
Nov 10,2025
Step 1: An independent foundation is the lifeline of the entire factory!
Excavate the foundation pit according to the drawings. The reinforcement bars in the foundation layer must be laid precisely—the dimensions and load-bearing capacity directly affect the factory's service life!

Use a theodolite to fix the anchor bolts, repeatedly checking the axis, diagonals, and the levelness of the anchor bolts. Zero error!
The column spacing must be aligned, and the diagonals must match to ensure the exterior walls are level and straight!
Finally, use the base plate to securely connect the steel columns and anchor bolts.
Step Two: Steel Column Hoisting – A Steel Forest Rises from the Ground!
With the solid foundation in place, a true miracle is about to unfold. This is the moment of perfect fusion of power and precision!
The Awakening of a Giant: The massive crane swings its steel arm like a composed conductor. The first steel column, pulled by cables, slowly detaches from the ground and rises smoothly into the air. At this moment, the lines on the blueprints begin to come alive in three dimensions.
Millimeter-Level Connection: All eyes are focused on the base of the steel column. The operators are fully focused, and the hoisting workers use precise hand gestures to ensure that the bolt holes at the base of the column align perfectly with the "zero-error" anchor bolts on the foundation. This is the ultimate test of all the previous preparations!
Temporarily Stabilizing the Position: After the steel column is in place, it is not immediately welded in place. Workers quickly use guy ropes to temporarily tighten and secure it from four directions, like attaching a "safety rope" to the newly erected giant, ensuring it remains unmoved in the wind and creating safe conditions for subsequent installation.
Step Three: Main Frame Construction – Injecting a Ste
el Backbone into the Factory!
A single column cannot form a building; the next step is to weave a skeleton for this steel forest.
The Erection of the First Frame: Following the steel columns, the first massive steel beam is hoisted and precisely connected to two steel columns at the top. At this moment, the first complete "door"-shaped structure is born! It is no longer an isolated component, but forms a stable unit.

The "Steel Handshake" of High-Strength Bolts: At the joints, precisely calculated high-strength bolts appear. Workers use specialized torque wrenches to tighten them with astonishing force. These are not ordinary bolts; they use immense friction to tightly clamp the components together, forming the building's "joints," strong and reliable.
The Support System – An Invisible Network of Strength: Between the columns, workers begin installing diagonal bracing components. These inter-column supports and roof horizontal supports act like "tight-fitting bulletproof vests" for the building, forming a powerful resistance to wind and lateral displacement. It is this invisible network that ensures the entire factory remains stable even in strong winds and earthquakes. Key takeaway: Safety is the foundation of everything! Throughout the hoisting and high-altitude operations, strict safety regulations, complete protective equipment, and clear and unified command signals form the line of defense protecting the lives of every construction worker.
Step Four: Enclosure System and Roof Panel Installation – Dressing the Giant!
The framework is complete; now it's time for "topping it off" and "dressing it up," and the factory will soon reveal its final form.

Purlins – Strong Ribs: Roof and wall purlins are installed densely and neatly on the steel beams and columns, like ribs. They form the supporting base for the roof and wall panels.
Insulation Layer – Temperature-Controlled Lining: Thick glass wool insulation rolls are laid on top of the purlins. It will become the factory's "thermal underwear," effectively insulating against external heat and cold, significantly reducing future energy consumption.
Roof Panels – Shield from Wind and Rain: One of the most exciting parts! Huge profiled steel sheets or brightly colored sandwich panels are hoisted to the roof. Workers work together, starting from one side to lay them. The panels are secured together using specialized interlocking joints or self-tapping screws, forming a continuous, complete, and leak-proof sturdy shield. When the last roof panel is installed, the factory is officially "completed"!
Final Chapter: The Final Battle – From Steel Skeleton to Modern Factory
As the main building rises from the ground, the final touches will imbue it with soul and function.

Wall Enclosure and Door/Window Installation: The walls are fitted with aesthetically pleasing and durable wall panels, with provisions for windows and large industrial doors. Sunlight streams through the skylights, illuminating the entire space.
Floor Construction – A Solid Foundation: Inside, heavy-duty rollers and screeds begin pouring a layer of reinforced concrete several tens of centimeters thick. This is the stage for the future roar of machinery and bustling production.
Laying the “Blood Vessels” and “Nerves”: Electricians, plumbers, and fire engineers arrive, intricately laying electrical wires, water pipes, fire sprinklers, and ventilation ducts beneath the walls and roof – this steel giant is about to be infused with “blood” and “nerves.”
The final touches: marking lines, constructing equipment foundations, debugging the lighting system... When the first light illuminates the factory, this modern factory, built with countless steel bars, bolts, and sweat, is ready to begin its production mission!
