As the modules are prefabricated in the factory, the on-site construction is mainly assembly work. For example, a standard modularized dormitory unit may have already completed the installation of walls, doors, windows, internal utility lines and other parts in the factory. After being transported to the site, the modules are placed in the right place by cranes and other equipment, and then the water, electricity, communication and other lines between the modules are connected, and they can be put into use very quickly. Compared with traditional construction methods, its erection speed can be increased by several times or even more.

Field camps
In the field of resource exploration such as oil and gas, staffs usually need to be stationed in remote field areas for a long time. Modular camp buildings can be quickly constructed with dormitories, canteens, offices, warehouses and other facilities to provide basic living and working conditions for staff.
